Billion Property Group (BPG), the real estate estate development company founded by South African multimillionaire Sisa Ngebulana, plans to build a mixed-use affordable housing complex of 5,528 flatlets and 1,408 town houses in the East Coast Crossways area in Kwelera, according to a news report by DispatchLive.
Kwelera is a small suburb situated in the Eastern Cape in South Africa. It is known for its coastal forest vegetation and its Kwelera national botanical garden is fast becoming a tourist destination.
BPG was set up in 1998 by Ngebulana, who is the former CEO of the Johannesburg Stock Exchange-listed Rebosis Property Fund, which he also founded.
BPG has an extensive portfolio of retail, residential, commercial, and mixed-used developments located in major South African cities such as the BT Ngebs City shopping mall and the Mayfair Hotel, both located in Mthatha, in the Eastern Cape province of South Africa.
