Robyn “Rihanna” Fenty, a renowned musician and cosmetics billionaire, appears to be planning the launch of a haircare line under the “Fenty” brand, with one of her companies, Roraj Trade LLC, filing two applications for Fenty Hair with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

The move, which is a strategic effort to strengthen her brand’s portfolio, follows the success that she has recorded with her billion-dollar skincare brand, Fenty Beauty, and her Fenty Skin product lines.

According to Billboard, the Fenty Hair collection will include accessories like hairbands, bows, clips, ribbons, scrunchies, wigs, curlers, pins, brushes, and combs, deepening her company’s brand portfolio and boosting its presence in the fashion and cosmetics business.

Despite Rihanna’s silence on the haircare line, the business venture has already sparked widespread enthusiasm among her fans worldwide.

The news comes nearly two months after she revealed plans to launch her billion-dollar skincare brand in Africa in a move to expand her business and capitalize on existing opportunities on the continent.

The skincare brand will make its debut in two of Africa’s five leading wealth markets, South Africa and Nigeria, as well as other African countries such as Botswana, Ghana, Kenya, Namibia, Nigeria, South Africa, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.

In recent times, Rihanna, who ranks as America’s youngest self-made billionaire, has seen her net worth fall by $300 million, from $1.7 billion on June 1 to $1.4 billion at the time of writing.

Her 30-percent stake in the Savage x Fenty lingerie line and her stake in Fenty Beauty account for the majority of her billion-dollar fortune.
