Nigerian auto magnate Innocent Chukwuma is strategically positioned to extend his global footprint through the export of vehicles from his renowned automobile manufacturing company, Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing (IVM), to the vibrant market in Jamaica.
The Jamaican High Commissioner to Nigeria, Esmond Reid, made a noteworthy announcement during his visit to Innocent Chukwuma’s automobile company, IVM, located in Anambra State in the southeastern region of Nigeria.
He said Jamaica intends to procure vehicles from the world-class producer of quality vehicles, solidifying its position as a top-tier producer and elevating its global reputation even further.
This marks a pivotal moment for the company, which has continuously strived to improve its output and meet the requirements and expectations of its customers with its unwavering commitment to producing top-notch vehicles.
During the tour of IVM’s plant, Reid was thoroughly impressed with the company’s state-of-the-art facility, which he referred to as “top class.” He marveled at the opportunity to witness first-hand the production of vehicles in Nigeria and expressed his excitement to consult with stakeholders back home on the possibility of sourcing vehicles from IVM.
Reid highlighted that his next steps would be to evaluate the timeline, engage in negotiations, and determine the best way to proceed with these commercial opportunities.
