Clubs: Liverpool FC, Boston Red Sox, Pittsburgh Penguins, AC Milan

Through his large shareholding in Through Fenway Sports Group, LeBron has his hands in the English Premier League, MLB, NHL, Serie A, and even motorsport. The clubs in Fenway Sports Group include Liverpool FC, Boston Red Sox, Pittsburgh Penguins and AC Milan. He also owns a stake in electric boat racing outfit Team AIUla.

Magic Johnson

Clubs: Dodgers, LAFC, Sparks, Commanders, Spirit

Magic Johnson is a partner at Guggenheim Baseball Management, the investment group that acquired the American professional baseball team the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2012. He’s also a part of the new ownership group at the Washington Commanders.

Snoop Dogg

Club: Swansea City (EFL Championship)

In 2025, Snoop Dogg became a minority co-owner of Swansea City in the English second division.

Tems made her move quietly. There were no flashy announcements or photo ops. But in February 2025, she bought into San Diego Football Club, an American professional soccer club based in San Diego. The club competes in Major League Soccer as a member of the Western Conference.

Kevin Durant

Clubs: Philadelphia Union, Gotham FC, Paris Saint-Germain

Durant has made it clear he’s serious about soccer. Not only does he own part of an MLS team (Union) and an NWSL club (Gotham FC), but he’s also tied to PSG. This isn’t just a diversified portfolio—it’s a statement. He’s investing in where the game is growing, both in Europe and the U.S.

Russell Westbrook

Club: Leeds United (via 49ers Enterprises)

Westbrook is one of several U.S. figures with a hand in Leeds United. The team’s fortunes have been up and down, but the investment group—including some from the NFL’s 49ers—believes in long-term potential.

Club: AFC Bournemouth (Premier League)

Jordan IS A part-owner of the English football club AFC Bournemouth. He became a minority shareholder in December 2022 as part of a takeover led by businessman Bill Foley and Black Knight Football Club

Club: Seattle Sounders (MLS)

Russell Carrington Wilson, an American professional football quarterback for the New York Giants, and his wife, Ciara, joined the ownership team of Major League Soccer's Seattle Sounders FCin August 2019.

Will Smith & Jada Pinkett Smith

Club: Philadelphia 76ers (NBA)

The Smiths are Philly royalty. They are also part-owners of basketball team the Philadelphia 76ers. In 2011 they joined an investment group to own a minority stake of the sports franchise, and bought the club from Comcast-Spectacor.

Usher

Club: Cleveland Cavaliers (NBA)

Usher got in on the Cavs back in 2005, which makes him one of the longest-standing celebrity owners in pro sports. He stuck around through LeBron’s first stint, the title run, and beyond.

Tracy McGrady, Vince Carter, Jozy Altidore

Club: Buffalo Bills (NFL)

In December 2024 this trio joined a minority-focused investment group that acquired a noncontrolling, minority interests in the Bills. It was the first time in franchise history that minority owners were added.
