Before Megan Thee Stallion was headlining festivals and racking up Grammys, she was plotting how to turn her fame into something far more durable: ownership. The Houston rapper, born Megan Pete, has made it clear that her long-term vision stretches beyond music. Over the past few years, she’s stitched together a portfolio that ranges from fast food franchises to fintech partnerships, from tequila to television.

What’s striking isn’t just the variety of deals—it’s the way she approaches them. Megan isn’t content to be a face on a billboard or the name on a flavor packet. Again and again, she’s pushed for equity, creative control, and a seat at the table. In doing so, she’s begun carving a path more in line with moguls like Rihanna and Jay-Z than the average recording artist. Her strategy has been consistent: buy in, build out, and bet on herself.
