Hassan Allam Construction, a subsidiary of the privately held engineering and construction group, Hassan Allam Holding, led by Egyptian businessman Hassan Allam, has secured a contract worth $550 million to build a 305-feddan development in New Cairo. The project is a joint venture between Grova Developments and Hassan Allam Properties.

Hassan Allam leads sustainable urban project

Under the deal, Hassan Allam Construction will act as the turnkey contractor. It will carry out all engineering and construction activities, delivering high-end standalone villas, twin villas, townhouses, commercial and office buildings, mixed-use facilities, and complete infrastructure, including roads, utilities and landscaping.

The design of the master plan highlights modern community living. It also places priority on open spaces, environmental responsibility and refined elegance. The aim is to deliver architecture that respects both style and sustainability, matching Egypt’s national goals for more green urban growth.

A history of steady delivery

Since its founding in 1936, Hassan Allam Holding has grown into one of the Middle East and North Africa’s most trusted contractors. The privately held company operates in about 10 countries. Its work spans energy, water, industrial development and logistics. The group carries about $6 billion in projects already under way.

Under the leadership of Hassan and Amr Allam, the firm has finished more than 12 million square meters of built space in Egypt, reinforcing its reputation for dependability and long-term collaboration. Over nearly 90 years, Hassan Allam’s name has become linked with completing projects on schedule and keeping promises.

Extending reach, lifting lives

Beyond its work in real estate, Hassan Allam Construction recently won a contract in Muscat, Oman, to build water and wastewater systems. That project is part of an effort to widen the firm’s presence outside Egypt.

Last month, the Allam and Sawiris foundations of Hassan Allam and Naguib Sawiris committed EGP200 million (about $4.2 million) over four years to a social impact program focused on education, agriculture and reducing poverty.

In June, the group joined with Schneider Electric to start a solar-powered smart farming project in the Nile Delta, aimed at improving food supply and encouraging clean energy use.
