The Ministry of Finance Incorporated Real Estate Investment Fund has declared a final dividend of N22.828 billion to shareholders following a strong earnings performance in the 2025 financial year, with the fund operating under the leadership of Dr Armstrong Takang.

MOFI reported a profit after tax of N25.353 billion, according to its financial statement filed with the Nigerian Exchange. The dividend payment is scheduled for February 27, 2026.

Out of the N22.828 billion total distribution for the year, N7.479 billion had already been paid to shareholders in the first half. The balance will be distributed to investors whose names appear on the register as of February 19, 2026, subject to regulatory approval.

ARM Investment Managers, the fund manager, confirmed that Series I investors will receive N3.7468 per unit, while Series II investors will receive N9.7192 per unit.

The fund manager stated that dividends will be credited electronically to shareholders who have completed their e dividend registration and submitted valid bank account details.

MOFI commenced operations on March 17, 2025, under a N1 trillion closed end real estate investment shelf programme. Since its launch, the fund has recorded notable activity in mortgage financing across Nigeria.

In 2025 alone, N23 billion was disbursed to 336 mortgage applicants. This brought cumulative disbursements to N70.72 billion and total mortgages originated to 1,082 across 21 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

During the fourth quarter, MOFI onboarded three new Eligible Financial Institutions, increasing the total number to 18. The participating institutions include eight commercial banks and 10 mortgage banks.

The fund is structured as a unit trust scheme in line with Securities and Exchange Commission regulations and remains fully domiciled in Nigeria, with investments denominated in naira.

The dividend declaration follows a year marked by earnings growth and expanded mortgage origination. With profit after tax exceeding N25 billion and nationwide mortgage activity continuing to rise, MOFI closes 2025 with strengthened financial results and a confirmed payout to shareholders.
