VistaJet, the private aviation company founded by Swiss billionaire Thomas Flohr, has won two international awards for its service and brand, as its parent company, Vista Global, prepares for a possible stock market listing.

VistaJet received a Luxury Experience Commendation from The Luxury Report and an Exemplary Brand Image award at the 15th China Finance Summit in Shanghai.

XO, Vista's private jet marketplace in the United States, was selected for Condé Nast Traveler's 2026 Readers' Choice Awards and named the best private aviation provider in Manhattan Magazine's Best of Manhattan 2026 awards.

"We're extremely proud of this award, which is a recognition of the importance that we place on client service excellence," said Ian Moore, VistaJet's chief commercial officer.

A business built on demand at the top

The awards come during a period of rapid growth for Vista. The company has about $2.9 billion in revenue, a fleet of almost 200 aircraft and an order for up to 160 new Bombardier jets over the next decade.

Flying hours sold by Vista rose 28% in its latest quarter. In the Middle East, where the company is headquartered in Dubai, hours sold in the second quarter rose more than 68% from a year earlier, after the war with Iran disrupted commercial air travel in the region.

Flohr told Semafor last week that the company had seen "an explosion of demand at the top end" of the market. Vista sells flights through a subscription model, typically charging between $11,000 and $25,000 an hour, and Flohr has said companies increasingly treat private flying as a business tool.

The Shanghai award reflects Vista's push into Asia, one of the regions where Flohr has said the company is growing fastest.

IPO on the horizon

Vista Global, which owns both VistaJet and XO, is weighing an initial public offering. Bloomberg reported in August that the company was looking at European exchanges, including Milan and Zurich, for a listing that could raise more than $1 billion and value the group at about $10 billion. Its backers include RRJ Capital and Rhone Group.

Flohr, who founded VistaJet in 2004, has said only that the company continues to explore its options in the capital markets.
