Alami Lazraq gains $36 million in 8 days as shares of Alliances Développement Immobilier (ADI) surge on the Casablanca Bourse.
Alami Lazraq’s stake in ADI drops $33 million as shares slide, reversing a sharp rally in Morocco’s real estate market.
This is a reversal from early May when ADI came under pressure. Between May 6 and May 22, Lazraq’s stake lost MAD570.53 million ($61.78 million) in market value.
Shares of Alliances Développement Immobilier tumble nearly 10% as investor confidence wanes in Morocco’s property market.
Alami Lazraq’s stake in ADI rises to $610 million, fueled by a nearly 8% surge in shares over 25 days.
The decline comes after a strong run earlier this year. Between Feb. 11 and 19, the value of Lazraq’s holding jumped by $89.7 million.
