Congolese oil tycoon Lucien Ebata says his company Trident OGX aims to raise production from 2,500 barrels a day to as much as 50,000.
Ebata, one of Africa’s richest men, is the founder and CEO of Orion Oil and publisher of Forbes Afrique.
French officials arrested him at Le Bourget Airport in Paris carrying a large amount of undeclared cash.
