Tony Elumelu’s Transcorp has relocated four turbines to Delta State to boost power generation as gas supply improves across Nigeria.
Elumelu, through his investment firm HH Capital, holds a 29.5-percent stake in Transcorp, or 11,990,957,350 ordinary shares.
Otedola now holds a 5.52-percent stake in Transcorp, making him one of the conglomerate’s top shareholders.
The loss came off the back of a sell-off in the company’s shares.
