Brait posts 7% revenue growth to $1.1 billion in 2025, reversing losses and strengthening NAV per share following recap, Virgin Active and Premier gains.
The move is part of a broader effort to simplify its portfolio, repay debt, and return capital to shareholders.
This is part of the company’s broader strategy to strengthen its financial structure and improve its balance sheet.
Brait’s decision to reduce its stake in Premier comes after a successful R750 million ($41.3 million) accelerated bookbuild offering earlier this year.
Brait demonstrated notable resilience, with significant profitability and revenue growth.
The recent move detailed a comprehensive recapitalization initiative designed to reduce the group’s net debt by $123 million, from $323 million to $200 million.
Wiese derives the majority of his fortune from Shoprite.
Premier Group operates under the banner of Brait SE.
The listing will take place as soon as more favorable stock market conditions permit.
