Uganda's motorsport community gathered on May 3 to honor Rajiv Ruparelia, son of billionaire Sudhir Ruparelia, one year after his death.
Victoria University has appointed Meera Ruparelia to its University Council, replacing her late brother Rajiv Ruparelia who died in a road accident in May 2025.
Ugandan businessman Sudhir Ruparelia and his wife, Jyotsna, launched 100 full scholarships at Victoria University under a bursary named for their late son, Rajiv, marking one of the largest single-year awards in the school’s history.
Rajiv was driving a high-performance Nissan GTR along the Kajjansi – Munyonyo Road near the Busabala Flyover junction when the crash occurred.
